Beets to Love your Liver

Shredded Beets for the Liver and GB
Saturday morning farmer's market in Pennington (only the second one ever, it just started up). Beautiful vegatables! I stopped anyone else from photographing these beauties by buying some just after the shot ;)Happy Monday everyone.
This cleanse is very mild and easy to do. In addition to this delicious beet concoction eating lots of vegetables, whole grains and limiting meat products, sugars and processed foods it will further support your Liver and gall bladder.
Your liver, gall bladder, and colon work synergistically (they all work with one another) to keep you healthy and digest our food and life experiences. They overwork when you consume too much fat, processed foods, sugar and negative emotions. To encourage healthy and complete bowel movements, and to aid your liver and gall bladder, fresh beets are a truly remarkable food.
Here is a six week program to stimulate your gall bladder and innervate your liver and colon:
The Magic Concoction: Mix one cup of finely shredded organic raw beets, 2 tablespoons of either virgin first pressed Olive Oil, EFA Oil or Raw Flax seed Oil, and the juice of 1/2 lemon.
I use a microplane by hand because I enjoy the ritual of shredding the beets and preparing my intention for cleansing.

1. For 3-5 days: Take a teaspoon of this mixture every hour or two.
2. For 7 days: Take 2 tablespoons of this mixture three times daily before meals.
3. Next 30 days: Continues taking 2 tablespoons of this mixture three times a day, three days a week.
It is an excellent idea to do this cleanse once yearly at minimum and the good news is that its Delicious! Louise Hay and I have been doing this cleanse 1-2 times a year for almost a decade.  Enjoy and Let me know how you like it!

    Hi Ahlea,

    I’m excited to give the cleanse a try! What sort of effects would I start to feel when taking this? How long does it keep in the fridge or can we store it at room temperature? Would one mixture last a week? Thanks Ahlea!!

    May I shred beets and squeeze lemon in advance and refrigerated it?
    Are there sustitute for beets?
