How To Do A Simple Castor Oil Pack

The effectiveness and ease of doing castor oil packs is profound. Castor Oil is rich in a unique, potent and immune boosting fatty acid and has been used for thousands of years as a healing remedy. I’ve been using castor oil packs in my practice for many years on achy joints, bruises, skin conditions, whole body detoxification and to increase digestion.

Supplies Needed

  • Castor Oil (buy only Cold pressed, not solvent-extracted or deodorized)
  • Cotton Flannel
  • Hot Water Bottle (I prefer this over electric pads because of EMF’s)
  • Plastic wrap

How To

  • Apply several tablespoons of castor oil to several layers of cotton flannel.
  • Place the oil soaked fabric on the affected area.
  • Place layer of plastic wrap with a towel on top.
  • Apply gentle heat with a hot water bottle for 30 minutes to one hour.

You can also directly gently massage castor oil gently into an achy joint, or into the skin of problematic areas or for wrinkles.

Thank you for telling us about castor oil packs at the New You Now Conference.
I did my first castor oil pack today. I did it on my liver. I actually was thinking good thoughts about my liver and listening to relaxing music. I feel asleep.
Since I took the pack off, I have been very relaxed similar to if I got an hour and a half full body massage or an acupuncture session.
In fact, I just took another nap. I have been drinking plenty of water today, but am happy to have the luxury of being able to just stay at home and chill.
I had toxic mold exposure 15 years ago, but think my liver is long ago cleansed from that. I regularly start my day with half of fresh squeezed lemon in a large mug of hot water.
Is it normal to be feeling so tired after a castor oil pack on the liver?
